Catch basin repair – Infrastructure rehabilitation
Iowa, Nebraska, and beyond….
We provide infrastructure repair and rehabilitation services utilizing URETEK Method® and Deep Injection® processes. While we provide these services in Iowa and Nebraska, the URETEK services are also available throughout the U.S. and even throughout the world. Successful completion of infrastructure repairs involving manholes, pipe infiltrations, catch basins, culverts, and outfalls is a fairly common procedure. Municipal infrastructure such as these can be treated with our expansive geopolymers to stabilize soils, fill voids, and stop water infiltration.
Benefits of our high-strength geopolymers:
- environmentally inert
- injectable material begins as a liquid
- reaches 90% strength in less than 5 min.
- expands up to 15 times its original volume.
- light-weight yet high-strength
Culvert rehabilitation in Iowa, Nebraska, and beyond…
We often work on culvert rehabilitation in the Midwest area including Iowa and Nebraska. The URETEK team works on similar situations in other locations as can be seen from some of the videos on this page. Our hydro-insensitive injectable geopolymers are typically injected through small diameter holes to seal the other side of concrete structures including culverts. Material can also be delivered via probe placement utilizing the patented URETEK Deep Injection® method. The polymer material can expand and void fill even in the presence of heavy flows of water and after placement, is basically environmentally inert. Rehabilitating infrastructure including culverts, catch basins, manholes, pipes, and outfalls with this method has some definite benefits including speed, durability, and versus the potential cost of replacement of the affected infrastructure.
Outfall repairs and rehabilitation
If you took the time to watch the above videos demonstrating the URETEK process for sealing some critical infrastructure down south, you probably noticed how effective the injectable polymers were at rehabilitating aging infrastructure especially in the presence of heavy flows of water. Whether your project is large or small, our expansive polymer grouting technology may be the perfect fit your your infrastructure rehabilitation requirements.
