Injection of these chemical grout geopolymers binds the injected area which is initially a loose material and binds it into a cohesive mass. In addition to binding and strengthening loose soils, the polymer material is expansive and can provide some lift if necessary. The polymer material is light-weight yet very strong in addition to being environmentally inert and hydro-insensitive. These compaction grouting methods utilize the URETEK Method® and Deep Injection® process to deliver the stabilizing material to the precisely targeted region.

The material is quite durable and is not seriously affected by ground water due to its hydro-insensitive properties.
