Underground pipe repair without digging
In some instances underground pipes may have settled due to loose or uncompacted soils or water infiltration. There have been successful applications of injectable geopolymers to treat similar issues as may be illustrated from the following drawing.
Through the use of durable hydro-insensitive injectable geopolymers we are able to breathe new life into struggling infrastructure in many cases. Manhole and sewer realignment and in some cases water cut-off has been successfully performed frequently using these methods. The benefits are apparent when methods such as these can be performed with no excavation requirements typically necessary. The injected material is stable, long-lasting, and easily placed with small diameter holes or injection probes.
